Names: Ashlee & Gemma
Wedding Date: 30th March, 2019
How We Met:
We’re both originally from the Sunshine Coast (Gemma from Buderim & Ashlee from Currimundi), and met on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean in 2012. Ashlee was dancing on the ship and Gemma was a passenger on her family holiday. After staying in touch as friends for a year, when we both settled back into life in Australia our relationship blossomed and the rest is history!
Why did you choose Beerwah Hideaway for your wedding:
We loved the location as an easy destination for our family and friends. The beautiful grounds we knew would make for gorgeous photos and fit our theme. Our initial appointment with Amanda felt genuine and welcoming, which sealed the deal for us.
Describe your theme for the day:
Boho rustic chic.
Ashlee’s highlight of the day:
Standing hand in hand with Gemma during the ceremony.
Gemma’s highlight of the day:
Watching Ashlee walk down the aisle.
Tips or words of wisdom for future brides/grooms-to-be:
Cherish all the moments in the lead up and in preparation for the wedding. The day goes by so quickly! Best decision we made not having our phones all night.
