Megan & Tim Walker
It was 9 months after having our son, on our way to family Christmas in Maryborough. We were in the car and Tim just sprung it on me. He knew if he had done any thing out of the ordinary I would have been suspicious straight away. After 9 years together, at that point it was awesome to know he could still surprise me.
I wanted rainforest, left right or center, that’s what I wanted. I looked and looked, and eventually found the Hideaway on Facebook. Mum and Dad were on the coast on the weekend of an open day, and I sent them along. We did a virtual tour, then visited myself the next week and it was perfect. Everything in one location CHECK! Very little DIY CHECK! surroundings beyond amazing!!!
Describe your theme for the day:
Seeing Tim at the other end of the aisle, and the take my breath away moment when seeing the reception hall set up.
The highlight of the day – groom:
Before you rush down the aisle, stop and look around at your family, friends & surroundings and take it in! Most of all, make eye contact with your groom – that is one moment you will want to replay over and over.
