Names: Holly & Cody
Wedding Date:  15th June 2019

Proposal Story:
As you all know Cody and I are a little dirt bike mad haha
Cody took me riding out in Glasshouse Mountains to ride a few trails, then went up to the Glasshouse Lookout, as we normally do. I was looking out over the pine trees and Cody said to me “You know how much I love you right”. And with Cody not being the type to show emotion, I thought it was weird and actually thought he was about to break up with me. But after Cody said that, I turned around to find him down on one knee, to which he then said “I want to spend the rest of my life with you, will you marry me?”
I then cried, and of course said yes!! I was just in an absolute state of shock, so much so that when we got back on our bikes, I forgot to put my gloves on and also forgot to do my helmet up.

Holly’s highlight of the day:

Meeting my dad and sharing that very special moment with him. Walking towards my soon to be husband and seeing how handsome he looked. And the feeling once we were pronounced husband and wife – it’s a feeling I will never forget.

Cody’s highlight of the day:

My highlight of the day was seeing my beautiful wife for the first time when she walked out the door and down the stairs. Seeing her dress shimmer in the sun – it was picturesque.

Why did you choose Beerwah Hideaway for your wedding:
From the second we walked in, we fell in love with the gardens! We didn’t have a picture in our head of exactly what we wanted, but it just felt absolutely perfect from the minute we walked through. We then saw the garden chapel and just knew instantly that this was it – we’d found the place that we would get married! We didn’t think it could be any more perfect, then Amanda showed us the function room, and it was honestly breathtaking. Not to mention all the fabulous staff there, who just made the experience so much more enjoyable.
From the second we met Amanda she was so laid back yet so professional, and just made us feel so at ease.
After meeting the fabulous ladies, seeing the grounds, and the function room. We were absolutely set on The Hideaway, and went home and cancelled all of our other scheduled venue viewings.

Describe your theme for the day:
